User-Centered Approach

Target Users: Iranian women looking for a curated shopping experience

Research: Conducted in-depth customer surveys and A/B tests using tools like Optimizely to understand user needs and preferences. Employed Google Analytics to capture and analyze shopping behaviors, both online and offline. I also engaged in ethnographic studies at physical stores to infuse real-world shopping habits into our digital user experience.

Ideation: From a UX perspective, I conceptualized and designed a 'Style Me' feature that uses machine learning algorithms to enhance personalization. Leveraging user personas and journey maps, this section offers individualized fashion and beauty advice based on user-inputted variables like skin tone, makeup, and dress preferences, thereby improving user engagement and satisfaction.

Outcome: Engineered a platform that seamlessly blends high-level personalization with intuitive UI/UX design, setting a new standard for user-centric e-commerce experiences.

More Details

Usability Testing: Utilized Google Analytics for quantitative data, SurveyMonkey for collecting user feedback, card sorting for cognitive mapping, and session recordings to observe real-time user interactions. This comprehensive approach gave us a nuanced understanding of user behavior and preferences, enabling targeted refinements in both UI and UX.

Collaboration: Held weekly Fashion Forward meetings with stakeholders and fashion consultants to align product offerings and user experience.

Metrics of Success: Launched 15% early, boosting user engagement by 28% in Q1 due to efficient UX design. The user-centric design also led to a 25% increase in repeat customers. Also, Shik Show quickly became a trend on social networks among iranian women.

Impact and results: Shik Show redefined online shopping for Iranian women, increasing brand affinity and customer loyalty. The platform saw a notable increase in user engagement and sales, proving its market fit and potential for growth.
